Types of braces:

Orthodontics are divided into two parts:

- Mobile braces

The mobile orthodontic, as it appears from its name, makes the patient disassemble and install it with ease, which helps the patient to easily clean it, but it also needs good follow-up in order to get satisfactory results, and this type of orthodontic its uses are almost very limited due to the use of cases that have modifications that I do not remember other than that its results Patients are not satisfied most of the time, but some doctors do not consider it a useful orthodontic and others do not recognize it.

Fixed braces

Fixed orthodontics, which is the most used and even the most widespread, and its results are tremendous in short times and in the utmost satisfaction on the part of patients, but it requires a very skilled dentist in its composition, and fixed orthodontics consists of three types:

Metal teeth are: it is considered the best in terms of the patient’s speed of healing and perhaps the cheapest price, but his appearance is troubled by his appearance, which is evident during speech, laughing or eating.

Transparent orthodontics: It is considered the most famous and popular of the metal braces because it does not appear as evident as it is preferred by many, but it is considered to be more expensive than the metal braces in addition to that it needs a doctorate Enamel is made of either ceramic or plastic

Internal orthodontics: It is also called the lingual, and it is the opposite of the metal braces, where the wires or metal beads go inside the mouth or behind the teeth from the inside so that they do not see. This type is considered the most expensive, but it needs a doctor with high efficiency and experience to be able to install it. Where healing takes a long time

Advantages of transparent orthodontics

One of the most important advantages of the transparent calendar is to have a smile without any embarrassment or discomfort in addition to absolute confidence in dealing with others during speech or laughter, as well as also features:

The clear aligner is not visible

The transparent orthodontic is characterized by the patient’s lack of visitation to the attending physician because the dentist sets a treatment plan for him before starting the installation of the transparent orthodontic in addition to the ease of disassembling and installing it while eating. It is very comfortable for the patient, unlike the wires that annoy the patient when eating, and the transparent orthodontic can also be removed during Cleaning the mouth and teeth, which keeps the teeth from decay and keeps the gums from infections

It is also characterized by the short therapeutic period and the patient's return to his normal life and activities

The tools used in the patient's mouth by the doctor during the treatment period are much less

The patient's vision of what he will get after the calendar and before starting it by viewing his teeth in three-dimensional images in which every movement required for the teeth is calculated by a computer

Too little patient sitting on the treatment chair

In the end, transparent orthoses are the most used because of the lack of embarrassment they cause to patients because they do not contain wires or metal beads, and the most easy is also

The right age to use the transparent braces

Clear aligners are used for all patients over the age of 14

Orthodontic method: When you go to the treating doctor, he makes a diagnosis of your treatment condition to develop the best treatment plans to make a very appropriate orthodontic that will bear fruit in short times.

In the beginning, the doctor takes the first prints, x-rays, measurements, and some necessary pictures of the patient's teeth, creates an accurate treatment plan, and then sends that to the laboratory

The laboratory takes three-dimensional images of those measurements by laser, which are then transferred to a computer with some special programs that are connected to a machine that manufactures the required measurements, but before that each required movement is calculated with very high accuracy, and after that the laboratory sends a three-dimensional image to The attending physician, so that the patient can see how his teeth will look after the treatment period has expired, and that visually on the computer before starting the treatment

In the event that the patient has agreed to perform the orthodontic procedure, the machine will manufacture a number of series devices made of transparent acrylic that are invisible to be placed on the teeth, and they are sent to the clinic again

The patient installs each of the devices that were manufactured in succession for about two weeks

The patient's teeth move in a very slow movement of millimeters gradually with each device that is installed on the teeth so that the teeth return to their correct place and the final result is obtained
